This role is for a Quality Tech on the 2nd shift. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with computers and data entry. The responsibilities include performing receiving inspection activities, documenting and filing results, reviewing defects with vendors, creating and sending supplier scrap reports, documenting cost recovery trends, organizing rejection/scrap information, and supporting manufacturing departments with containments/inspections. The role also emphasizes practicing safety protocols, identifying and addressing quality issues, problem-solving, teamwork, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Tech will also perform daily process audits, create Quality Alerts, participate in containment activities, work overtime as needed, and follow all assigned tasks per SOPs and other company directives.
