About The Position

At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is an onsite role in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The work model involves 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand. This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.

Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Equivalent manufacturing quality and leadership experience may be considered.
Three to five years of manufacturing quality experience preferred.
Previous team lead, supervisory, or demonstrated informal leadership experience preferred.
Experience in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Auditors, Chemical Technicians, and other assigned quality personnel.
Provide hands-on quality support to manufacturing and make timely disposition or escalation decisions within assigned authority.
Monitor production processes for compliance with specifications, drawings, procedures, inspection plans, control plans, and quality standards.
Conduct and support Process Audits and other assigned compliance checks.
Verify adherence to standard work, inspection methods, test requirements, and approved process controls.
Lead or support structured root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Why, fishbone analysis, A3 problem solving, and corrective action reports.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for internal defects, customer concerns, supplier issues, audit findings, and process failures.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to reduce scrap, rework, defects, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
Use quality data and recurring issue trends to identify improvement priorities and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.
