This role involves training team members in assembling and installing sub-assembly components for commercial HVAC products on an assembly line. The Quality Team Leader (QTL) is responsible for ensuring safe and timely completion of work in line with codes and quality standards, and serves as the primary contact for line issues. The position requires ensuring unit standards for quality and productivity, checking proper assembly and installation of units and parts, training team members, maintaining up-to-date information on unit schedules and procedures, scheduling production time, verifying work order packets, confirming parts availability, approving paperwork for sub-assemblies and end-of-line checks, staying updated on assembly procedures and equipment, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, inspecting blueprints, communicating effectively with management and team, monitoring work environments, performing minor repairs, and providing production backup support. The role also involves completing the AAON's Quality Team Leader (QTL) Program, possessing leadership and motivational skills, demonstrating flexibility, providing problem-solving assistance, building relationships, working cooperatively, maintaining satisfactory work attendance, working a variable schedule, working overtime as assigned, and complying with company policies.
