About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supplier Quality team in Everett, Washington. This role will report to the BCA Quality Functional Excellence team and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of the BCA Supplier Quality Management System (QMS). The specialist will lead stakeholders in process analysis, conduct research and analysis of performance reports, prepare quality directives and policies, and lead multi-function teams to develop and implement quality processes. A key aspect of the role involves driving data visualization and reporting, including creating and updating Tableau dashboards and automating routine reports to provide actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. The position requires working under general to minimal direction, managing priorities, timelines, and cross-functional communications, as well as conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality management system standards and requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 3+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited program
  • Experience with AS9001: International Aerospace QMS Standards
  • Experience with ISO9001: International QMS Standards
  • Experience with the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and/or Systematic Problem Solving
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and drive implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
  • Conduct research, compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability and operational outcomes.
  • Prepare, maintain and deploy quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are met.
  • Lead multi-function and multi-site teams to develop and implement company directives and quality processes that meet program and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop coordinated responses for management review to meet program quality requirements.
  • Drive data visualization and reporting: create/update Tableau dashboards, automate routine reports, and present actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Work under general to minimal direction, managing priorities, timelines and cross-functional communications.
  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.
