About The Position

The Quality Systems Specialist position at The Boeing Company involves assisting with the maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics. The role requires interpreting and analyzing data to support processes, metrics, models, and flows, identifying root causes of routine problems, and researching performance reports to improve process capability. A key aspect is establishing Quality performance improvement projects through problem-solving and root cause analysis. This role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity. The specialist must also be capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workloads, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with writing SQL queries and/or SQL server management.
  • Proficient with Data visualization platforms including Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query).
  • Knowledge of relevant programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) is often beneficial for integration and automation.
  • Experience with analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Experience developing presentations for leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of ERP Systems (ERPLN/ERPMART).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
  • Working Knowledge of Visual Basic.
  • 2+ years with process automation, application development, and code deployment.
