About The Position

The Quality Systems Specialist will be responsible for setting up new ingredients and packaging materials in SAP, verifying the accuracy of incoming customer specifications, and reviewing incoming materials for accuracy and COA requirements. This role also involves reviewing incoming material labels for accuracy and regulatory compliance, coordinating HACCP and Food Safety verification and validation, and preparing for first production approval. The specialist will collect FG customer samples during trials, ship customer samples per required specs, create Allergen matrices and date code sheets, and maintain material masters and registers. Additionally, the role requires communicating with customers to resolve issues, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and complying with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. The position may require working weekends and performing other duties as assigned by site QA leadership.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Excellent keyboarding, record keeping and follow-up skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Reaching with hands/arms throughout the day.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers.
  • Ability to see, hear and talk.
  • Ability to work in light to moderate noise levels.
  • May be required to walk up to 400 yards to work and break areas.
  • May climb steps to and from work and break areas.
  • 5 – 7 years' experience in Data Entry
  • HACCP Certified.
  • SAP Experience Required
  • Microsoft Products Experience Required
