About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join our Quality support services team. This position will be based in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves analyzing process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems. It also includes reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development. The specialist will prepare and maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to ensure compliance with program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements. Participation with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and their implementation is key. The role also entails conducting research, compiling and analyzing performance reports and process control statistics for continuous process capability improvement. Additionally, the specialist will conduct quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, developing a coordinated response for management review and approval. Conducting hardware, software, and system-level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory, and customer requirements, and reporting results to management are also responsibilities. Analyzing data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment is part of the role. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on military aircraft platform
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action
  • 1+ years of experience in the application of AS9100
  • Experience in conducting internal audits
  • 1+ Minimum year of experience in a dedicated Quality role
  • Willing to travel up to 50% both domestic and international
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance / modification experience is desired
  • 8210 / AFI 21-101 / 4790 experience
  • Ability to collaborate with Engineers to develop repair procedures for nonconformances
  • Able to research and create clear depiction problems for engineering to help solve problems that arise using Vector, IQDS, Retrofit Configuration System, Tableau and REDARS
  • Knowledge of how to research and initiate a change to Technical Data and Engineer blueprints to match real time configuration
  • Active security clearance
