About The Position

The Quality Systems Specialist will assist with the maintenance of quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics. This role involves interpreting data to support processes, metrics, models, and flows to identify the root cause of routine problems and to support research and analysis of performance reports for process capability improvement. The specialist will analyze data to establish Quality performance improvement projects through problem-solving and root cause analysis.

Proficient with SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Proficient with Data visualization platforms including Tableau and/or Power BI.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field
Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of relevant programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) for integration and automation.
3+ years of experience with query performance tuning and indexing strategies.
Proficient with Data visualization platforms including Tableau and/or Power BI
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query)
Experience with analytical, communication and problem solving skills
Experience developing presentations for leadership.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience with data mining, curating, processing and analysis
Strong knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Basic understanding of data quality, validation, and metadata management
Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Communication skills to work with users and developers.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or manufacturing environment
