As a member of our Quality Systems team, you'll help review donor records, maintain regulatory compliance, support process improvements, and contribute to the integrity of our tissue donation program. Requirements

  • Experience working in a healthcare, quality assurance, compliance, medical records, or other regulated environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and confidential records management
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze information and exercise independent judgment
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with demonstrated follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, healthcare, quality, or a related field
  • Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of disease processes, anatomy, physiology, or donor evaluation
  • Experience utilizing quality management software
  • Experience in organ procurement, tissue recovery, tissue banking, transplantation, or other donation-related fields
  • Experience participating in process improvement or Lean initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Review tissue donor records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
  • Identify and communicate documentation corrections to internal and external stakeholders
  • Retrieve and organize medical records and supporting clinical documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor and recipient information
  • Collaborate with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and recovery partners to obtain required information
  • Support quality initiatives, process improvements, and Lean projects
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements
