About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Quality Systems Specialist (4) to join their Quality Assurance team in SeaTac, WA. This role primarily involves issuing airworthiness release certificates for the ODA Inspection Unit and airworthiness release documents for the ARD. These are for approvals on eligible articles (e.g., aircraft parts) to ensure compliance to type design and that the products are in a condition for safe operation. The specialist may also determine the acceptability of submitted requests for conformity and ensure that aircraft assemblies and/or articles meet type design and are in a condition for safe operation. Additionally, the role requires working with airline customer representatives to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction, including investigating customer problems in a timely manner to provide responses to concerns. A team player attitude and the ability to work well with other organizations are essential.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality role required
  • Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
