About The Position

This role involves supporting tasks related to the receipt and preparation of truck chassis, performing quality audits, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position is primarily outdoors in a non-temperature-controlled setting and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or (GED)
No relevant experience required.
Demonstrated ability to operate equipment, with or without training.
Ability to read and interpret written and verbal instructions.
Must be self-motivated to be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.
Must be safety oriented.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to walk long distances throughout the day.
Must be able to climb in and out of large chassis.
Must be reliable and detail oriented.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Install tailgate spreader chains.
Apply DOT bed stickers.
Support for tasks associated with receipt of truck chassis and pre-delivery preparation.
Locate trucks and move them to designated locations.
Clean cab interiors.
Pressure wash and clean frame, cab, wheels and bed.
Perform quality audits of green tagged units.
Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, mainly outdoors.
Maintain 5S; Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
Any other tasks deemed necessary by quality leadership staff.
