Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with a computer.
- Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Quality experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a production environment is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver product samples from production to QA.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformances pertaining to the production lines / material to the QA lab
- Sealing up gaylords and requesting new gaylords be delivered when full
- Replenish Production, QA and other consumable bins when needed
- Assist with the dispositioning of material.
- Assist with maintaining quality management documentation.
- Assist with verification and/or testing of raw materials and finished products to order and required specifications.
- Contribute to department improvement initiatives.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assistance in other areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomics standards.
- Demonstrates Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
