About The Position

SWJ Technology is seeking a Quality Support Specialist (Part-Time / Interim) for a client in the automotive industry, specializing in car manufacturing. This position is a part-time contract role based in Meadville, PA, requiring on-site presence 2–3 days a week. The Quality Support Specialist will provide operational and administrative support to the QEHS Manager at the Meadville facility during the site transition period. The primary purpose of this role is to assist in maintaining quality standards, supporting operational continuity, and minimizing disruptions and customer complaints through the final day of site operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to support production operations and manage multiple technical projects.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, or administrative support environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of fundamental Quality concepts within a manufacturing or business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, reliable, and able to follow direction effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and work independently when required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the review, revision, and creation of Work Instructions and related documentation.
  • Support day-to-day quality activities to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Provide assistance on quality and operational projects as assigned by the QEHS Manager.
  • Help maintain organized quality records, documentation, and filing systems.
  • Support basic reporting activities and data collection as required.
  • Follow established procedures and work under the direction of the QEHS Manager to meet project timelines and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal personnel to ensure effective communication and execution of assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to maintaining site quality standards during the transition period.
