About The Position

The Quality Supervisor conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed and oversees the quality team at the facility. The role trains and guides employees, assigns and supervises work, monitors performance, and conducts audits of departments and production lines. The supervisor reviews productivity against client requirements and quality standards, recommends improvements to auditing procedures, and prepares reports on audit and inspection performance. The role also collects product samples, collaborates with third-party test laboratories, and serves as a subject-matter expert on policies, processes, requirements, and regulations relevant to product testing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience leading audits.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and presentation.

Nice To Haves

Relevant quality certification.
3–6 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Train new employees in company procedures and policies.
Determine and distribute work assignments and responsibilities, and supervise projects.
Monitor employee performance and attendance and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
Perform regular audits of departments and production lines to ensure compliance with company standards.
Provide support and guidance to team members so they can perform their duties effectively.
Review employee productivity and performance to ensure client requirements are met, and recommend improvements to meet quality standards.
Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures to support continuous improvement.
Conduct regular meetings with the audit and inspection team to foster teamwork and consistency.
Create regular reports highlighting audit and inspection performance and areas requiring improvement.
Collect product samples and collaborate with third-party test laboratories.
Serve as a subject-matter expert regarding policies, mortgage servicing, investor requirements, processes, and regulations to test company products adequately.
