About The Position

HYVE Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Quality Supervisor with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. The Quality Supervisor manages a team of Quality Inspectors and leads. They develop, implement, and maintain the activities of quality control systems with respect to quality inspectors. This role oversees the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting company products and makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. The Quality Supervisor provides timely feedback to the engineering team to improve quality documents and training, and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure all quality policies and training are followed. This role leads day-to-day Quality inspection operations and requires a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities to meet customer demand. A good working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes and procedures is essential, along with a thorough understanding of all platforms, inspection points, quality processes, and applicable QC inspection areas. The primary goal is to prevent failures passing forward to the customer by ensuring quality inspectors follow training and procedures. This role also performs failure analyses, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up with respect to quality inspection findings, and suggests, implements, and supports improvement ideas or activities to benefit the product, process, or business. Collaboration with internal cross-functional manufacturing teams is key to meeting quality standards.
