The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company’s objectives. Sanimax reclaims used cooking oil, meat & organic by-products from the agri-food industry, then transform them into industrial ingredients that will be used to manufacture everyday items. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
  • Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
  • Complete individual performance evaluations
  • Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
  • Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
  • Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
  • In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required
  • Drives operational performance through initiative, coaching, training, delegation and accountability in addressing opportunities and problems.
  • Looks for and implements improvement opportunities.
  • Takes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
  • Fosters open and consistent communication with own work team and other work groups including but not limited to Production Planner and support Team, Transportation, Procurement and Finished Goods Sales Team.
  • Coaches and develops employees through constructive feedback and facilitation of professional growth
  • Fosters teamwork
  • Ability to take action and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $75,000 to $94,000
  • Bonus potential up to 10%
  • Competitive benefits to include a 401k match up to 5%
  • 3% quarterly bonus
