About The Position

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is looking for an Experienced/Senior Quality Specialist- BGS Early Quality & Program Support based in Hazelwood, MO. This role leads Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development and integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. The specialist will analyze process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems, support and assist with problem management activities (CAR, NCR, etc.), facilitate Quality Leadership Reviews, and develop and facilitate Quality initiatives. The role focuses on continuous improvement, the ability to recognize and implement opportunities to bring preventative best practices to the business, implement Quality tools, and enable the Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience
  • 2+ years of experience with conducting quality investigations, Root Cause analysis, as well as implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
  • Experience developing quality metrics, design and production certification plans
  • Experience developing and reviewing proposals and contractual requirements
