We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to come join us here at Textile Exchange. The Quality Specialist is a key support role in the development, maintenance and implementation of the Standard System Department’s internal management systems (e.g. , document control, risk management, case management) and external compliance management systems (e.g. , ISEAL, EA 1/22) . Collaborating with the Quality Manager, this role ensures that all systems are user-friendly, efficient, and consistently deliver high-quality outputs.

Requirements

  • At least three combined years of experience working in standards systems and/or quality management.
  • Detail-oriented, logical, systematic, methodical, and highly organized.
  • Experience working in database systems with both external and internal users.
  • Experience with a high volume of inquiries is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams and across departments.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, yet fast-paced remote environment, able to meet deadlines and share progress regularly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Project Management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to communicate effectively across time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of user-friendly, efficient, and effective systems and internal procedures that ensure the quality, readability, consistency, and completeness of all Standards System documents. This includes, but is not limited to, standards, policies, guidelines, templates, and internal and external procedures.
  • Support the design and implementation of the Standards System Department’s document control, risk management, case management, and external compliance management systems, ensuring that all relevant staff are notified of required actions, responsibilities are clearly tracked, and all open items are resolved in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Operationalize the Standard System’s document control system and other Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Organize inputs and review processes of department definition updates to the Textile Exchange Glossary.
  • Operationalize the case management system and maintain design and functionality.
  • Collect inputs from department teams and update the risk management system.
  • Support the department technical leads for ISEAL compliance, supporting the upload of information to the org-wide tools.
  • Support work management in ClickUp, for organizational OKRs, but also key project support.
  • Support the standards development work as needed to achieve mutual team goals.
  • Support project workstreams as appropriate and act as “champion” for key areas of work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Full-Time Position, 40 Hours a Week
  • Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 USD
