About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist to join the B-52 CERP Quality Team located in San Antonio, TX. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, quality procedures, and engineering requirements. The specialist will perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes against Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations. A key aspect of the role is applying knowledge of aerospace design, systems, and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. The position also includes training and mentoring fellow employees in the Quality Management System, performing root cause analysis on non-conformances to identify causes and prevent recurrence, and independently developing, modifying, and documenting actions for problem resolution or corrective/preventive action implementation. The specialist will obtain corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes, negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for preventive and corrective action, prioritize quality activities, and ensure problem resolution. Additionally, they will review and validate corrective action plans, identify their effectiveness, and ensure completion. The role also involves reviewing and approving Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes, reviewing and implementing corrective action on audit results, interpreting industry standards, and providing recommendations for implementation. Creating analytical reports and coordinating with responsible parties for internal/external distribution are also part of the responsibilities. The role works under general direction.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
Currently hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or are currently enrolled in an A&P certificate program
Experience in the application of AS9100/9110

Responsibilities
