About The Position

The Quality Operations Associate supports product compliance activities within the warehouse and acts as a liaison between Quality and Operations. The role includes inspecting and sampling hand-packaged materials, maintaining inventory, managing drug returns, supporting sample activities, and preparing materials for production. It also provides cold-storage backup and helps keep supplies stocked and expired items removed.

The associate follows gowning procedures, SOPs, safety requirements, and GMP training, and completes accurate documentation while promptly reporting issues. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and may require occasional overtime. It is intended for candidates within commuting distance of Durham, North Carolina.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 5–7 years of warehouse or inventory experience, or an associate degree with 3–5 years of experience.
• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support product compliance activities within the warehouse.
• Perform AQL sampling and inspection of hand-packaged materials.
• Serve as a liaison between Quality and Operations teams.
• Adhere to required gowning procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Manage drug returns and support sample activities.
• Restock supplies and remove expired items.
• Stage materials for production and provide cold-storage backup.
• Stay current on safety and GMP training.
• Follow SOPs and report issues promptly.
• Complete accurate documentation.
• Support team needs, including occasional overtime.
