About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Multi-Family Manager to support our Final Assembly/Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) team within 787 Quality in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. You will manage a group of employees engaged in partnering with various manufacturing disciplines, ensuring efficient operations and high quality production. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience inspecting aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
  • 5 years of experience leading process improvement activities that delivered measurable business results
  • Experience working and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience with workload management
  • 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role
  • Experience working directly with internal and external suppliers
  • Prior military related experience
  • A&P license
