About The Position

To supervise Quality Assurance personnel in accomplishing tasks necessary to monitor and control Quality at the plant and vendor levels to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves maintaining and enhancing systems to support the ISO / TS 16949 quality system, documenting and reviewing testing and inspection results, and publishing quality status reports for manufacturing areas. The Quality Manager will initiate corrective actions by reviewing reject and scrap reports, create Problem Solving Teams with the Production Manager, and report on these activities. They will also establish training procedures for APQP meetings, provide guidance on quality matters, and initiate process FMEA and Control Plans. This role oversees the creation and updating of Control Plans for all products and acts as the customer representative for the manufacturing plant to improve customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager is responsible for reviewing departmental activities and making recommendations to management regarding training, equipment, and organizational needs, ensuring the entire supply chain is engaged in the production process. This position leads the Quality Control Program with a dotted line responsibility to the Plant Manager and performs any duties assigned by management. A strong understanding and practice of the Company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements are essential. Daily review of customer portals for site status is also required.
