About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager (Level K) to join our team in Huntsville, AL! This role performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families. The Quality Manager develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures, and develops organizational and technical strategies. They provide education and coaching on the Quality System, acquire and manage resources, and lead process improvements. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports, while managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
3+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action
3+ years of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Must complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) Assessment process.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
