This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all aspects of the quality management system as well as ensuring the quality standards for processes, materials, and products are being met.

Requirements

  • Core tools knowledge and experience
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings and specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role in manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a quality function
  • Experience with and solid understanding of national/international QMS standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016
  • Broad experience with quality systems, including but not limited to validation, non-conformance, CAPA systems and investigations, laboratory controls, and production and process controls

Nice To Haves

  • Quality auditor certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supporting customer requirements within the organization and proposing improvements to the quality management system.
  • Developing internal directives and standards for the quality management system and ensuring their compliance.
  • Planning and monitoring the execution of regular internal audits in accordance with quality standards and industry requirements.
  • Evaluating internal quality audits, identifying causes of nonconformities, defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Conducting external supplier audits.
  • Cooperating with auditors during external audits and coordinating personnel to provide support to audit teams.
  • Preparing documentation, reports, and audit summaries from internal and external audits for management team.
  • Managing activities focused on risk analysis and risk reduction.
  • Effectively managing situations to enable production and business continuity.
  • Investigating, analyzing, and closing customer complaints in an effective and timely manner.
  • Providing consulting and advisory support to internal and external customers.
  • Leading, motivating, evaluating, and monitoring the performance of the quality team.
