Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in aerospace or defense programs
- Strong expertise in aerospace Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, AS9102)
- Proven leadership in quality engineering, manufacturing, or design
- Experience leading teams and managing supervisors or technical staff
- Deep knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical process control, and quality tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and statements of work – required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in electronics or high-reliability manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the site Quality function, setting strategy, goals, and performance metrics aligned to business priorities
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, government, and regulatory bodies
- Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (AS9100 and ISO 9001)
- Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits and drive timely corrective actions
- Oversee root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and failure investigations
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and similar methodologies
- Manage supplier quality, including audits, corrective actions, and performance monitoring
- Lead inspection, testing, and product acceptance across manufacturing operations
- Chair Material Review Board activities and manage nonconformance and risk decisions
- Deliver executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives
