Southern Fabricators is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to lead our Quality Department and help drive excellence throughout our manufacturing operations. This position oversees a team of 8–10 employees and plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards on the shop floor while also serving as a primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and communication. The Quality Manager will work closely with production, engineering, operations, and customers to ensure products meet customer expectations and company standards. This role requires a strong leadership presence and the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, customer discussions, training environments, and cross-functional team settings. The position is responsible for maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 standards, supporting 5S and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and helping improve overall manufacturing quality and efficiency. This role will also assist with the development and implementation of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and customer quality requirements.
