About The Position

DELEVAN is an electronics manufacturer with a strong brand for over 75 years, specializing in Inductors, Radio Frequency coils, chokes, transformers, and resolvers. They are the only manufacturer in the world with Mil-PRF-39010 Level ‘S’ accreditation and a global supplier of frameless, framed, and tandem resolvers to various industries. DELEVAN is part of the Regal Rexnord Corporation portfolio. The Quality Manager will develop, implement, and sustain quality systems to ensure product and service delivery meets or exceeds total quality requirements. This role will lead the facility in continuous process improvements and cost reduction through total quality activities. Responsibilities include maintaining ISO9001, AS9100, and Military QPL maintenance programs (Mil-PRF-39010, Mil-PRF-27).

Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects involving cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and task focused, with little to no supervision required.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent Proficiency with all common software; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Bachelor’s degree - preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Supervisory, or management experience required.
  • Prior quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with military specifications would be beneficial.
  • Variation Reduction and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret strategic business templates and information.
  • Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Required to respect and protect all confidential, privileged, personal, legally regulated and proprietary information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and mentor the Quality department team.
  • Responsible for incoming quality and regulation of suppliers' performance to quality.
  • Develop and drive customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Interface with customers to resolve quality problems by determining root cause and corrective actions.
  • Lead the quality team’s efforts to improve internal quality.
  • Implementation of sustainable quality processes in the production process.
  • Support Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service in resolving quality problems and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive customer-specific quality problems using FBS processes and tools.
  • Embrace and utilize Daily Management Process.
  • Develop audit programs and procedures for all levels of audit activity.
  • Assure consistency of purchased components by vendor certification, establishment of effective acceptance criteria, and product monitoring.
  • Provide support and information for new and sustaining product development in regards to quality processes, tooling, and fixtures, aimed at one-piece flow.
  • Maintain ISO and AS9100 quality systems.
