About The Position

This role is responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. The Quality Lead Operator will perform visual inspections, inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, and monitor testing procedures. This position requires adherence to all system procedures, company policies, safety regulations, and environmental and quality standards. The role also involves ensuring equipment is properly calibrated, validated, and maintained, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements

  • Ability to conduct testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
  • Ability to perform visual inspection on all products and place non-conforming product on hold.
  • Ability to conduct inspection of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications.
  • Ability to monitor testing procedures and processes to ensure tests performed are done according to item specifications, protocols and standard test methods.
  • Ability to interpret test results and compare them to the specifications and control limits in place while providing recommendations on the appropriateness of data.
  • Ability to complete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures.
  • Ability to ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained properly.
  • Ability to support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to follow all safety regulations.
  • Ability to report all accidents or near misses.
  • Ability to adhere to all environmental and quality standards.
  • Ability to perform any other tasks that may be necessary to meet the production schedule in a safe and efficient manner.
