About The Position

This role is responsible for establishing and managing inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules. The lead will communicate these schedules daily with Warehouse Supervisors, direct personnel assigned to audits and counts, and provide analysis of audit results. The position involves spotting and documenting issues in various warehouse operations and collaborating with supervisors to identify areas needing corrective action. Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills are essential, along with a working knowledge of inventory quality control and industry standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 6 or more years of related work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent audit skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 or more years of industry related experience preferred.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Directs and leads the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts by the Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audits unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors and leads to identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Reads and responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
