About The Position

The Quality & Inventory Lead is responsible for establishing and publishing weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules. This role involves daily communication and coordination with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure necessary resources are allocated for schedule completion. The Lead directs the work of assigned personnel, provides daily analysis and statistics of audit results, and conducts spot audits of various warehouse operations, documenting findings in Excel. This position also interacts with supervisors and leads to identify areas needing corrective action and requires timely email correspondence. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 6 or more years of related work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent audit skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Presence on-site at the assigned work location is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 or more years of industry related experience preferred.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Directs and leads the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audits unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors and leads to identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
