About The Position

Boeing Distribution, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Hialeah, FL. This role involves verifying product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and managing non-conforming items. The inspector will perform preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformances. Under limited supervision, the individual will inspect incoming parts and materials, verify certifications, check parts for processing, and handle special orders. Daily use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, and indicators is required. This position also involves mentoring other members of the inspection team. Responsibilities include conducting dimensional inspections according to design records and AQL levels, performing visual inspections for defects, and reviewing/disposing of certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards. Communication with vendors and disposition/control of non-conforming products are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
  • 3+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
  • This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
