About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for two Quality Inspectors in Corinth, MS. These are 1st shift positions (core hours 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The pay is $18.50. The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. This role involves containing non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies, and rectifying non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. The inspector will use methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material and determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job. The inspector will also grind, sand, clean and oil parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment. Communication of sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source is also a key responsibility.

• 1+ year in Quality related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
