About The Position

Assist in operating the manufacturing line while ensuring high quality, efficiency, and excellence and following all safety requirements. The role performs routine inspections of production assemblies and sub-assemblies, determines whether products meet quality standards, and records inspection results in the computerized MES system. Work is performed under close supervision and follows written procedures and visual aids.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience.
• Must be QC certified.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing.
• A degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
• Inspect in-process and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
• Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and established operating procedures to determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Follow standardized written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
• Visually inspect products using magnifying glasses, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
• Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system to indicate whether a board passes or fails.
• Follow all safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and as directed by a supervisor.
• Comply with procedures within the company security policy.
