About The Position

Precision Resource is seeking a Quality Inspector in Huntington Beach, California. The role inspects and tests incoming materials, in-process products, and finished parts to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements. The inspector works with production teams to identify and prevent non-conforming products and may stop production when necessary to maintain quality. Precision Resource is a family-owned global supplier of precision metal components and assemblies made using a fineblank production method. Its customers serve industries including automotive, heavy duty, medical, aerospace, electronics, tools, hardware, and military and defense. The position is scheduled from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The salary range is $23–$26 per hour. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a metal stamping or machining environment.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, proactive, and collaborative approach.
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and final assemblies according to control plans.
Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and advanced equipment such as CMM.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality logs.
Communicate with operators and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met.
Document and report non-conformances and take appropriate corrective action.
Maintain cleanliness and order in quality-control areas.
Stop production when necessary to maintain quality.
