About The Position

Assist in operating the manufacturing line while ensuring high quality and striving for efficiency and excellence, in accordance with all safety requirements. The Quality Inspector performs routine inspections of in-process and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies to determine whether they meet quality assurance standards. The role follows visual aids, engineering change notices, and established procedures, and works under close supervision of a manufacturing supervisor or another designated supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience.
• QC certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures at various stages of production to ensure quality levels.
• Inspect in-process and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
• Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and operating procedures; determine whether products should be accepted or rejected.
• Follow standardized written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
• Visually inspect products using a magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first-article checks, and/or AOI machines.
• Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to record board pass or failure.
• Follow applicable safety and health rules and regulations.
• Comply with company security procedures.
