About The Position

Responsible for inspecting purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products according to defined criteria to ensure quality products are delivered to customers. The department is structured as a formal team and requires the ability to work within the team. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One -Two years of manufacturing experience with an understanding of competencies.
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of AITF16949 quality standards
• Working knowledge of measurement equipment
• Problem Solving
• Perform sorts, audits or rework products
• Knowledge of product and processes
• Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks as required
• Ability to work effectively with people

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and finished company products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
• Rework, teardown or reject subassemblies or finished products as required.
• Conduct document process and system audits using written procedures.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
• Review and generate scrap defective tags.
• Problem solving.
• Continuous improvement activities.
• Various other duties as assigned.
