The Inspector, Quality performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and products against defined inspection plans and specifications. The role evaluates results for compliance, documents records with accuracy and traceability, identifies and escalates deviations, and supports root cause analyses and quality-trend identification. The inspector also ensures inspection methods and equipment are applied correctly, performs in-process, final, and applicable incoming goods inspections, and supports improvements to inspection plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on components and products based on defined inspection plans and specifications.
• Evaluate inspection results independently and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify deviations, abnormalities, or recurring quality issues and initiate escalation according to defined procedures.
• Document inspection results accurately and ensure completeness and traceability of quality records.
• Support root cause analyses by providing structured inspection data and observations.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to identify quality trends and recurring defects.
• Ensure correct application of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and test procedures.
• Perform in-process and final inspections in production, as well as incoming goods inspections where applicable.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of inspection plans and instructions.
