About The Position

This role is for a Quality Inspector on the 2nd shift, which runs Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. A 15% differential is provided for the 2nd shift. The company is looking for individuals with a good attitude and a willingness to learn new trades or skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment
• Previous experience performing dimensional and visual inspection in an aerospace environment
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specifications
• Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
• Strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in operating CMMs using PCDMIS and/or MODUS software
• Previous experience performing incoming, in process, or final inspections in a turbine engine repair environment

Responsibilities

• Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components
• Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements
• Inspection includes visual and dimensional using required gaging and measuring equipment
• Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet customer criteria for an acceptable part
• Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part
• Complete required paperwork if a part is defective or needs re-work
