Quality Inspector-2nd shift
About The Position
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Quality Inspector for their 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00am) schedule at their Springboro, OH Facility. Requirements
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities
- Must have a good attendance record
- Previous Quality inspection a must
- Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc
- Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures
- Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures
- Must be able to utilize basic math skills
- Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA
- Must be able to use computer and email for data entry
- Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel
- High School diploma/GED required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment as plus
- Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Responsibilities
- In process inspection for manufacturing processes
- Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards
- Ensure all EHS compliance is met
- Utilize basic math skills
- Communicate with operations, management and DCMA
- Use computer and email for data entry
- Communicate with management and other personnel
