About The Position

The Final Inspector performs a complete overall inspection of finished products at the end of the assembly line. The role plans and carries out final inspections, performs critical quality checks, signs off on all Critical to Quality operations, and reports defects to management at the end of each day. The inspector works under direct supervision using well-defined policies and procedures; work is reviewed by a supervisor, with limited opportunity for independent judgment and decision-making. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experienced knowledge of quality standards for the product being inspected.
• Ability to understand and use a tape measure and other measurement tools as required.
• Good communication skills and legible handwriting.
• Ability to identify problems in a timely manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform and process paperwork required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform final inspections of finished products.
• Perform critical quality checks of products.
• Manage time effectively to complete duties within the set time.
• Sign off on all Critical to Quality operations.
• Report all defects found to management at the end of each day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
