About The Position

Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspects Sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and using lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Requirements

A minimum of Middle school certificate is required.
Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend).
Six Months of related experience in manufacturing process is required.
Advanced reading, writing and math skills are required (i.e., 12th grade level)
Inspection skills
Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
Must complete training for and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position and must maintain QA certification to remain in the position
Basic PC skills are required (i.e., keyboarding skills, basic mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using Google Workspace or MS Windows) and familiarity with applicable Plexus software packages
Individual will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
Individual will be required to handle a PCB by turning it, flipping it, and angling it
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for use of computer monitor, keyboard and inspection equipment, and individual must meet the visual acuity requirements

Nice To Haves

One (1) or more years of related experience in the position is preferred.
Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Supervise work area according with 5´s standards.
