About The Position

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of structural wind towers in North America, focused on excellence and offering premier value to its customers. Arcosa Wind Towers is searching for a Quality Assurance Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you will provide visual and measured inspections and tests of materials and products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You will also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations. The job location is Newton, IA. As an important member of the team, you will be responsible for activating the potential of our people, caring for our customers, optimizing operations, and integrating sustainability into our daily practices as well as our long-term strategy and promote a results-driven culture that is aligned with long term value creation. This position is safety sensitive.

Requirements

1 year of manufacturing experience
Technical Skills
Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment
Understand defects and determine acceptance status
Read, write and speak proficiently in English

Responsibilities

Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product
Complete inspection records and reports
May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process
