Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED and 2+ years experience, technical training, or aviation-related course preferred
- Prior inspection or quality control experience: familiarity with technical data, drawings, and maintenance records
- Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams
- Use of measurement/ test equipment, SAP / MRO software, and Microsoft office products
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in‑process, final, and return‑to‑service inspections on aircraft parts and components
- Ensure all work complies with applicable regulations (e.g., FAA Part 145, FAR 43 & 65), manufacturer specifications, and company procedures
- Identify defects, measure and test components using specialized tools, and verify proper condition and documentation
- Review and verify work orders, test data, logbooks, and engineering instructions; sign official return‑to‑service forms (e.g., FAA Form 8130‑3)
- Confirm parts and materials used during maintenance are traceable and certified
- Conduct audits of work‑in‑progress and completed work; coordinate with technicians and other inspectors to resolve issues
- Document findings, rejections, and corrective actions in line with the quality management systems
- Support AS9100 /AS9110 Audits
