About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through various inspection and testing procedures. The Quality Inspector I will read blueprints, perform inspections, approve or reject products, and maintain detailed records. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and familiarity with quality control standards and testing machines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards.
- Verbal and communication skills a must.
- Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with quality testing machines a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and materials.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
- Approve or reject products based on inspection results and consult with the Quality Manager when necessary.
- Selecting output samples and checking them using appropriate methods.
- Performs complex testing procedures.
- Maintain records of testing, information and various records.
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and calibration if up to date.
- Prepare and submit reports to Quality Manager.
- Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and processes.
