About The Position

Inspect products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that procedures are followed, and specification requirements are met. This role is available on the 3rd shift, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The position does not involve supervisory duties.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges and other measuring media.
Working knowledge of the metric system.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel specifically)
High school diploma or GED
1 – 2 years of quality inspection experience
2 – 3 years of manufacturing/machine operation experience or equivalent industry preferred

Nice To Haves

CNC or CMM experience

Responsibilities

Inspects and tests products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, measurements, and endurance.
Documents the results of all inspections.
Ensures non-conforming material is handled according to procedure.
Can perform gauge verification and, if necessary, calibrations.
Reports any deviation to quality leadership.
Informs quality leadership the results of priority inspections.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Successfully prioritize numerous responsibilities.
Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work overtime, as needed.
