About The Position

Inspect products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that procedures are followed, and specification requirements are met. This role involves inspecting and testing products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, measurements, and endurance. The inspector will document inspection results, ensure non-conforming material is handled according to procedure, perform gauge verification and calibrations, and report deviations and inspection results to quality leadership. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges and other measuring media.
  • Working knowledge of the metric system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel specifically)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 – 2 years of quality inspection experience
  • 2 – 3 years of manufacturing/machine operation experience or equivalent industry preferred

Nice To Haves

  • CNC or CMM experience

Responsibilities

  • Work overtime, as needed.
