About The Position

As a Quality Inspector 1, you will help ensure the quality and consistency of trailers. You will monitor manufacturing processes, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective actions. The role includes inspecting raw materials and finished products, recording quality data, documenting inspection findings, and collaborating with the manufacturing team to resolve issues and improve quality.

Requirements

Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies, with attention to detail.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality checks on trailers throughout manufacturing, including inspections of raw materials and final products.
Monitor production processes for compliance with quality standards and identify potential issues.
Track and record quality assurance data, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
Work with the manufacturing team to address quality issues and implement improvements.
Use checklists, standard work, and quality standards to document inspection findings and corrective actions.
Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
