As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our commitment to excellence by working alongside the National Director of Quality and Compliance Programs. You’ll help drive local and enterprise-wide quality initiatives, ensure smooth adherence to federal and state reporting processes, and serve as a key contact for incident reports, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective action plans. In this role, you’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to uphold compliance with federal, state, and High Reliability Organization standards while embodying the values, culture, and mission that make myPlace Health a special place to work and grow.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience as a quality improvement or quality assurance coordinator is required, ideally within a healthcare setting, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, especially in PACE programs, as well as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • A highly motivated, self-directed professional who can confidently execute tasks in a dynamic environment, make sound decisions under pressure, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • A 2nd language that is most commonly spoken in Los Angeles County such as Spanish.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in early-stage or rapidly growing companies is advantageous.
  • Experience within a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) setting is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in collecting, entering, and managing data for timely submission, ensuring reports meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in conducting thorough analyses to identify root causes, assess corrective actions, and drive improvements in quality processes.
  • Acts as a knowledgeable resource for quality functions, including grievances, appeals, and facility standards, guiding team members on accurate application.
  • Executes and completes tasks related to quality improvement activities with precision, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all areas.
  • Effectively collaborates within QI Program Committees, actively participating and contributing valuable insights while maintaining detailed records, such as meeting minutes.
  • Identifies and communicates deficiencies, anomalies, and trends found during quality activities, providing data-driven insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Supports audit preparation and compliance efforts, ensuring successful outcomes for state and federal audits and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Diligently collects and submits data for regulatory bodies and associations, reflecting a dedication to high standards and excellence in participant care.
