About The Position

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role supports the mission of helping every person live well and have a fulfilling career. The position is dynamic, with diversified tasks supporting the company's mission. The Quality Improvement Specialist will provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise for local process improvement initiatives, verify the implementation of effective strategies to measure and improve outcomes, monitor quality improvement goals, and track outcomes and measurements. This role also involves reviewing incident data, preparing and analyzing trended reports for management, conducting incident report training and technical support in a region, performing internal investigations of incidents and/or allegations, and conducting audits to support operations in preparation for licensing/certification reviews.

Requirements

  • Three years’ experience in quality improvement or other related social services field is required.
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
  • Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita's insurability policy.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
