The Quality Improvement Specialist will assist Program staff to meet and maintain regulatory compliance with Local, NY State and Federal codes and regulations. This role involves conducting internal audits and inspections, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring thorough investigations of Reportable Incidents. The specialist will also participate in Incident Review meetings, assist with incident monitoring and trend analysis, and maintain the agency incident database. Additionally, the role supports compliance with Council on Accreditation (COA) standards, assists with case record reviews, consumer satisfaction surveys, and behavior management training tracking. The position requires collaboration with various staff levels and a sensitivity to cultural differences. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to set limits, maintain their role, and work collaboratively.
